It's been a while since we've had guests born in the United States but living in a different country. That's why I'm so excited to introduce you to Angela Fobbs and Adrianne George, the inspiring co-hosts of the popular Black Women in Europe podcast.

I first heard about their work on my favorite podcast, The Black Guy Who Tips, back in October 2020, and I've been a fan ever since. The Black Women in Europe blog, on which the podcast is based, has won multiple awards and has been providing resources and connections for Black immigrants and indigenous (especially women) living in Europe for over 15 years.

Angela and Adrianne were raised in different parts of America – one in a boring town, the other in an exciting place. Despite having very different dreams as teenagers, the universe steered them in the same direction – overseas.

In this conversation, they share stories of unisex names, gangs, and colors, beautiful love stories, and lots of laughs. But there's a more serious message too – get out and VOTE in November! Climate change is a real and urgent threat, and it can only be solved if we vote for the right people. Let's make sure Fascists don't win!
