Founder / Executive Director / Events Planner /
Founder and Executive Director Ninoska Carolina was born and raised in NYC. She grew up in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx alongside her younger sister and mom. Ninoska graduated High School and began attending college shortly after. After graduating from Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), a CUNY (City University of New York) Institute, she decided to pursue her bachelor’s degree at the City College of New York (CCNY). She graduated with a degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and Advertising. A few years later, Ninoska decided to attend New York University (NYU), where she continued to develop her communications skills by obtaining a Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communication. Ninoska always wanted to give back to the community but didn’t know how. She knew funding the Mott Haven Film Festival (MHFF) was her calling because the impact on the community would be endless.
With MHFF, Ninoska can give back to the neighborhood she was raised in while establishing a much-needed film festival in The Bronx. Ninoska is also a certified event planner from Kingsborough Community College (CUNY).
